Sadly, Neil Young had to cancel the rest of his Canadian tour due to medical issues faced by a couple band members. I’m bummed because I’m a massive fan and I was looking forward to seeing him play again. Luckily, my pregnant girl summer is just beginning. I’ll be seeing the fabulous Orville Peck in concert the day after my 37th birthday.

Orville Peck is awesome. He brings ‘progressive’ and ‘country’ together in the same sentence and I love that, as does the little girl in me who feels her dreams of being a country and western singer were dashed too soon. So if you’re a Peckhead who happens to be attending this show, and spot a masked pregnant woman with sciatica dancing her little heart out in cowboy boots, say hello.
